The Federal Republic of Zitorai is a nation located in the Americas. It stretches from California in the north to the Rio de la Plata in the South, making it one of the largest nations in DON not just by area but also by population. Zitorai shares borders with Rohomma in the North and Farmo in several areas mainly in the Caribbean coast, and Guarari in the southeast. The capital of Zitorai is Cyphor, located in Peru. Other large cities include Oxinarf, Sebu, Frasconia, Antumbra and Arenobus. Zitorai is a member of the Organisation of Regional Advancement of Labour as well as the American Free Trade Association.

Governance

Zitorai can be best summarised as a federation, which has a total of 23 states. Each state has “magistrates” who work in the legislative branch of government. The quantity of magistrates per state is relative to the population of said state. Magistrates are elected democratically at a state level, though suffrage is not universal and is only given as a privilege to men who have served in the military for 2 years, have fathered at least 2 children and have no history of crime. They serve for 20 years, though they may resign at will or be dismissed by majority vote. Magistrates also hold judicial power, and they can appoint or dismiss lower-court judges at will.

In the executive branch, twelve “senators” hold executive powers, with no head of government or head of state. Senators serve for life unless they resign on their own accord or are dismissed through a 66% supermajority in the house of representatives. In this case, a new senator is elected by the house of magistrates.
